APENFT Foundation and LiveArt have announced the opening of “Second Life,” an exhibition at the APENFT ART MUSEUM in Cryptovoxels and auction on LiveArtX, on Tuesday, January 25th. The exhibition will bring together more than 20 emerging and established artists united by their use of digital media to explore visions of alternative realities in the metaverse. The more than 50 NFTs feature artists’ work, including BEEPLE, FEWOCiOUS, and PAK, alongside twelve winners of the Art Dream Fund’s inaugural open call, announced at the end of 2021. In addition, select works will be available for purchase on LiveArtX, the curated NFT marketplace established by a team of art market insiders and tech innovators.
“Second Life” was co-curated by Sydney Xiong, Director of APENFT Foundation, and Marisa Kayyem, Chief Curator of LiveArt. The Art Dream Fund’s inaugural open call winners worked with the LiveArt team to develop and mint their works in the LiveArtX Creator Studio. The works will be offered in a series of four-day online auctions on LiveArtX’s NFT marketplace, which provides collectors access to a curated marketplace of high-quality works of digital art. Catering to both the physical and digital art worlds, LiveArtX accepts cryptocurrency and credit card payments.
